The coldest village on the earth having -70 degree Celsius Temperature

Oymyakon has recorded a damm cold temperature of -71 Degree Celsius which is now one of the most coldest village on this planet.  Oymyakon is located in Russia whose population is nearly 500. Most places in the Siberia region of Russia have average temperature of -15 to -20 degree Celsius. Here in January, the recorded average temperature is -50 degree Celsius.

The amazing thing is that, in some buildings, they have outside toilets and digging graves for a funeral can take up to 3-4 days as ground has to be thawed with hot coals.

This village is also called as “POLE OF COLD” and is located around 750 meters above sea level and the length of a day varies from 3 hours in December to 21 hours in the summer.

Oymyakon lies a 2 day drive from the city of Yakutsk, the regional capital, which has the coldest winter temperatures for any city in the world. They keep their cars running all day for fear of them not starting again.
